Cathedral Visits
2008 In most years, All Saints' Choir is privileged to take its music to one or more Cathedrals or Abbey Churches. The Choir may sing either just the Saturday evening office or the services for up to a week, while the regular choir is on holiday. In this tradition, in 2008, the Choir has arranged to sing at Portsmouth Cathedral from 28 July to 1 August, and at All Saints' Ryde Parish Church, I O W, on 3 August. Visits to sing Saturday Evensong have been arranged for 28 June at Edington Priory, and for 4 October at Romsey Abbey. A visit to sing Sunday Evensong is being arranged for 21 September at Greyfriars' Church, Reading. 2007 Likewise, in 2007, the Choir sang Saturday Evensong at Christchurch Priory, Dorset on 16 June, at Greyfriars Church, Reading on 15 July, and at Southwark Cathedral on 6 October. The "main" visit involved singing the week's services at Chester Cathedral from 23 to 29 July.
